Hi Folks
A little while ago I received a lovely email asking me if I would like to be a guest designer at the Love to Create Challenge blog. Of course I was delighted to accept and I am here today to share my project for this weeks challenge.
The theme for the challenge this week is
Anything Goes For Kids
The sponsor is Bugaboo Stamps and I used this cute image 'Rock Star Boy' for my project.
I coloured the image with promarkers and cut out using a spellbinders die. I inked through the die to give some soft shading around the image. For the background I used some stripey paper for the bottom. At the top I used 3 different shades of blue tone card and cut them out to create the starburst effect. I then edged each piece with some faux stitching. Some stripey ribbon was then added to cover the join in the papers across the middle. The silver stars and twirly bits were die cut. The Happy Birthday sentiment was cut on my Brother Scan and Cut. The large lettering at the top was die cut and then glittered.
