Well, I am back from my weekend away at the Queen convention. I actually got back on Monday afternoon but still feel quite tired. It was a fantastic weekend and the tribute bands that performed were excellent. Our daughters came with us this year and had a fantastic time too. They were dancing away to Queen music at the disco each night.
I have all this week off work so hoping to get some major crafty time in. I am taking my youngest daughter back to university on Thursday. She just has two exams left and then she will be finished. This four years are gone by really quickly and it only seems like yesterday that we were dropping her off for her first day.
I did have a little time in the craft room yesterday and here is the result.
I used some Glitter Frosting Paste that I purchased at Ally Pally from here. I used a stencil for the design. The thing I like about this glitter paste is the drying time. It is touch dry in a couple of minutes but you can speed up the drying process by using your heat tool. I inked round the edges with some distress ink and backed the image onto black card. Some crushed card candi was used for the corners.
The biggest problem I had was getting a decent photograph. I really enjoyed using the glitter paste and it really does make for a quick card.
Thanks for popping by and for all the lovely comments you leave. I do appreciate it and will try my best to visit your blog in return. It may take me a bit of time but I will get there in the end.

Hi Mags so glad you had a good time it sounds brilliant! Your card is fabulous love the image and the distressing at the edges. I bought some of this glitter paste at a show and tried to use it once with the stencil but it looked rubbish. Yours looks fabulous you obviously have the knack! Hugs Susan x

This is beautiful, love the gorgeous image and fab layout.xxx
I had no idea you were a Queen fan Maggie, I'm another and been a member for years as well.
Never been to the conventions but did see Freddie and the boys live a couple of times and also went to the Wembley concert after his death which had so many well known faces and bands, but he left a huge hole and there's never been another voice to compare.
And all I came for was to say what a lovely card and thank you for joining in again at Allsorts.
