Hope you are all well. Well it might be wet and miserable outside but I am a happy bunny today. I have finished work and now have 12 days off. We are away this coming weekend but then planning to have a bit of a rest and hopefully get lots of crafting done.
Today sees the start of a new challenge over at Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenges. Sadly this is the last challenge for our wonderful design team coordinator Courtney. Courtney is busy working on a new business venture and has decided that now is the time to step down. Courtney has done a fantastic job and we are sorry to see her go but hopefully will still see her around blogland and we wish her well.
Julie from the design team has now taken on the role and I am sure she will do a fantastic job.
Our theme for this fortnight is 'Happy Birthday'. Nice and easy me thinks and you can't have too many birthday cards.

Here is the card I created using a great image from Squigglefly.
The image was coloured with promarkers and I added some sparkle to the candles and some lovely brown glitter to the icing. The rest of the items on the card were all from my scraps box. I added some coredinations cardstock for the matting and layering and die cut a border to edge the ribbon. Some glittery flowers, pearls, gems and a sentiment completed the card.
