Hope you have all had a great bank holiday weekend. Can't believe it's come round to Monday evening already. Back to the grindstone tomorrow (work by another name lol).
Just a quick post tonight before I relax and prepare myself for tomorrow.
The challenge over at Penny Black Saturday this week is to Case It.
Helen has produced this gorgeous creation and the challenge is to use it as inspiration for your own piece of work. You could take the colours, layout, the embossing or anything else that has inspired you.
Now I have never done a Case It challenge before so decided to have a go.
The stamp is from Penny Black and I simply stamped it using distress inks and did a bit of watercolouring using distress inks. I embossed some red and green coredinations and matted this onto kraft card. Added some red vintage ribbon and some pearls. Job done.
This is very much out of my comfort zone as I normally embellish far more than this. Still not too sure about it myself. It was a real struggle stopping myself from adding to it lol.

Crafty Catz - CAS (hopefully this is CAS enough).
