Hope you are all well and hope that you are all keeping safe during the severe weather that some of you are experiencing (both here in the UK and abroad). My thoughts are with all those affected.
Anyway, today sees the start of our first challenge for 2014 over at Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenges. Our theme for this week is a nice easy one for you:
Anything Goes

Here is my inspiration post using a cute image from StampArt Design.
I used this adorable image called Elphie the Elephant which is available here. I coloured the image with promarkers and cut out using one of my scalloped circle dies. A bit of distress ink was added to the edge and this was then mounted onto a doily. The background papers are from a Bella Wild Rose Studio paper pack which I have had since last summer. All of the matting was done onto pink cardstock. For embellishments I used some ribbon, buttons, a little flower and a dazzler on the bow. I found the flower lurking at the bottom of my flower stash, it must have been there for a good 12 months. It was just perfect for this card and so nice to use up some old goodies.
