Hi Folks
Well, the weekend has arrived at last. I have had a busy week at work but from next week I will only be working four days a week. After working at my current job for 30 years I have decided that it is time for a bit more me time so I am going to be working part time and having Mondays off. A lovely long weekend every week. Hopefully I can start doing some of the little jobs at home that I never seem to have time to do. I can also sneak in a bit more crafty time too lol.
My card share for today is another christmas card using a super stamp from Imagination Crafts.
I stamped the image onto black glossy card (also available from Imagination Crafts) using Versamark. I then dusted over it with mica powders (from Imagination Crafts). This gives a lovely shimmer to the image. This was then matted onto silver mirror card. The sentiment was also done in the same way using a sentiment stamp. I also went around the edge of the sentiment with stickles. The background papers were a freebie in a magazine which I matted onto silver mirror card. Some silver glitter strips from my stash were added across the joins in the paper. A little bow and some sparkly gems finished the card.

ReplyDeleteWow, hun, this is gorgeous - I have some mica powders, but I'm always afraid that they'll rub off!! I'll have to dig them out and try them with Versamark!
ReplyDeleteAfter 30 years, you've certainly earned an extra day off each week - don't spend all the time on housework, have a cuppa and lots more crafting time! :)
