Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenges

Hi Folks
Hope you are all well.  It's Wednesday and time for a new challenge over at Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenges.  
Our theme for this week is a nice easy one:
Anything Goes
I am sure we will have a high number of entries.

Our sponsors for this challenge are:
The Paper Shelter - prize of a $20 gift certificate
Floppy Latte - prize of a $10 gift certificate

The design team were all able to use images from our sponsors for this challenge.  I used a lovely Poinsettia Frame image from Floppy Latte.


After colouring the image with my promarkers I cut around the outside of the image.  I used gilding flakes to add some interest to the actual outer frame.  I then cut out the frame inner and stuck the frame over a sentiment topper from Papermania that I had in my stash.  The background paper was also in my stash of christmas papers - it was on its own as a single sheet so no idea when and where I got it lol.  A few sparkly gems finished the card.  Quite pleased with how this turned out, think it looks a bit vintage.

    Hi Mags - I do like this one! I have just enlarged the pic so that I could see the frame properly and the gilding flakes really do look good. I like to see a verse on the front of a card, this is wonderful.
