It's All About The Black at A Gem of a Challenge

Hi Folks
Hope you are all well and looking forward to your weekend.  

Today sees the start of a new challenge over at A Gem of a Challenge.  The theme this week has been chosen by the lovely Kelly.
Use some black on your creation

The prize as always is

2 individual digi images
(NO SETS, PERSONALISED WATERMARKS OR SENTIMENTS SETS) 
of the winners choice from PINK GEM DESIGNS....


As you can see I went with a christmas card and used this cute penguin set that can be found here.  I coloured the images with promarkers and mounted them onto black card.  I also used some of the christmas digital paper, also available here.  Black ribbon has been used down the side of the card.  The black ribbon was matted onto some silver edged ribbon.  For embellishments I used some little plastic charms and some peel offs and black pearls.

    I think you did a fabulous job developing a card to fit the theme of the challenge! Particularly love how you addressed the challenge of using something black in your design!
