I Love You Mom and DT Call

Hi Folks
Today sees the start of a new challenge over at Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenges.
Our challenge for this fortnight is 'I Love You Mom' in honour of Mothers Day on May 13th in the USA.
We have lucky to have three fab sponsors this month: Bugaboo Stamps, Stamping Boutique and Eye Candie Creations who are all generously offering some free digi images to our winners.

I was able to use a lovely image from Eye Candie Creations for my card:

The image was simply coloured with promarkers and I added some faux stitching around the edge.  This was then matted onto coredinations and then onto a doily.  The papers were free in a magazine some time ago. The finishing touches were the filigree metal corner, flowers, ribbon, sentiment and the lovely white letters.
