For a Special Lady at Dream Valley

Hi Folks
Second challenge post for today.  Again, this should have been posted yesterday but blogger decided not to play.
It is time for a new fortnightly challenge over at Dream Valley Challenges.  Our sponsor for the fortnight is the wonderful Saturated Canary and the winner will receive a gift voucher to the value of $10.



Our theme for this fortnight is 'FOR A SPECIAL LADY'.  You can create anything you like as long as it fits in with the theme.

The design team were lucky enough to be able to work with an image from Saturated Canary.  I chose the adorable Orchard Love and made a birthday card.

The image was coloured using promarkers and then matted onto some black cardstock.  The papers were all in my stash box.  I believe they were a freebie in a magazine.  And yes, I know that the backing paper has cherries on it and the image is apples but didn't have any papers with apples.  It's still fruit though lol.  For embellishments I used a couple of ribbons at the bottom, some prima flowers, memory box dies, pearls, little prima butterflies and pearls.
