Hi there
Decided to start having a play with some Christmas card designs. I cannot take credit for the actual designs themselves so will give credit to the appropriate people as I go along.
Card Number 1
Went to a demonstration day at Sir Stampalot and the talented Gina Martin was there. This card has been completed using a Rubber Stamp Tapestry Set. There are various small peg stamps which make up the finished design. Had fun doing this one but took a couple of attempts to get the final wreath shape.
Christmas Card Number 2
This card was another that was being demonstrated at Sir Stampalot in Peterborough. The designer was the talented Lindsay Mason. The stamp set is her design and she designs for Personal Impressions. The background was done using Tim Holtz Distress Inks. This was my first attempt at inking a background and creating a scene from stamps. Must say that I was quite pleased with the result.
Christmas Card Number 3
Had great fun creating this card. I used a Molly Blooms stamp (the snowman). I decided to go with a black and white theme using various papers and glitter card. I added the touch of blue to the scarf and ribbon button. Made quite a nice jolly card.
My idea for Christmas is to have a range of two or three cards that I can reproduce on mass to send out to all my family and friends. However, I will probably end up doing lots of different sorts as I do have several ideas still.
Hope you have enjoyed looking and please feel free to leave a comment.
Happy Crafting
