Hi Folks
Hope you have all had an enjoyable weekend. Spent Saturday afternoon with my daughters at a local event in our town for Armed Forces Day. The weather was gorgeous and lovely to see so many people in our town supporting the event. Today has been a bit quieter and a a day for catching up on things before the week ahead.
Today I thought I would share with you the card that I made for my Daughter and Son-In-Law for their wedding.
I wanted to use the colour scheme of the wedding which was Royal Blue for the card. My new Son-In-Law is a supporter of our local football team - Peterborough United - and their colour is blue. Heather decided to choose their colour as the main theme for the wedding which did please Gary immensely.
For the card I used various embossing folders and dies. The background is a swirly embossing folder, I added versamark to the folder before embossing and then sparkly embossing powder. The frame die is a Sue Wilson die and I also used her lattice weaving dies for the inner background to the frame. The roses were created with a bitty blossom die from Spellbinders and I added some Memory Box die flourishes. A ribbon bow and some pearls to the corners etc finished the card.
Thanks for popping by and would love to know what you think. I really appreciate all the lovely comments that you leave me.
