Embossing with Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenges

Hi Folks
Welcome back to my little area of blogland. 

Today sees the start of a new challenge over at Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenges.  Our theme for this week is:
Embossing
You can create any project you like as long as you use some embossing somewhere, whether that be heat or dry embossing.

We have a super sponsor for this week and that is Sparkle N Sprinkle with a prize of 3 digi images or sets for the lucky winner.

Here is my inspiration project using a lovely digi set from our sponsor.


This owl image is so cute and I coloured him using promarkers.  I embossed the background card and added a little distress ink before mounting onto red card.  For embellishments I used a gem heart, some roses and pearls.  The sentiment is from the digi stamp set.
