Spots and Stripes at Winter Wonderland

Hi Folks
Hope you are all well and have had a good week.  I have had a lovely couple of days having my youngest daughter home but will be taking her to the airport this afternoon for her return to Magaluf.  But she will be back at the beginning of September to start her midwife training.  We are so proud of her.

Today sees the start of a new challenge over at Winter Wonderland.  The challenge this week is hosted by the lovely Lynsey and the theme is:
Spots and Stripes

Here is my inspiration project.

For my card I have used a lovely stamp set  from Woodware called Large Patch Tree.  I paper pieced the image using a christmas paper pad that has been lying around in my stash for a couple of years.  I chose papers that had some spots and stripes on them.  I mounted the image onto some red gingham paper.  The little stars and greeting are from the same stamp set.  I did add some stardust stickles to the stars and the heart on the tree base.

Our sponsor for this challenge is:

Prize of a £10 voucher to the winner.

Thanks for popping by and looking forward to seeing all your creations.  Just pop over to Winter Wonderland for full challenge details.  Don't forget to check out the fab creations from my talented teamies.
