Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenges

Hi Folks
Well another week has passed by and today sees the start of a new challenge over at Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenges.  Our theme for this week is:
Monochrome
You can enter any project you like as long as it fits with the challenge theme.

We have three great sponsors joining us this week:
Bugaboo Stamps - prize of 7 free digi images to the winner

Here is my inspiration project using a gorgeous image from Digi Darla.  As you can see I went for the whole pink colour combo.


I went for a softer colouring approach and used pencils.  Not sure I really have the hang of using them yet but practice makes perfect so they say lol.  I did add some glamourdust to her wings for added sparkle.  Pink coredinations was used for the mats and the papers were from my scraps box.  For embellishments I added some ribbon and a bow, flowers and gems from my stash and some punched butterflies.
