Crafting Musketeers Midmonth Inspiration

Hi Folks
Hope you are all well and enjoying the weekend.  It is bright and sunny here this morning so hopefully no rain today.

I am just popping by to share some inspiration for our current monthly challenge over at Crafting Musketeers.  Our theme for this month is 
Butterflies

Here is my inspiration project.


I used papers and embellishments from the Time Flies collection from Craftwork Cards for my project.  The background was done by punching three of the design papers into squares using my square punch.  I then inked the edges with some distress ink and mounted onto some coredinations cardstock.  The die cut butterflies were also inked around the edges.  The sentiment was mounted onto coredinations and put in the centre of the card and a little bow added made from ribbon.  For embellishments  I added some card candi which I glittered using stickles, mini flowers and gems.

    This is absolutely magnificent, Mags! Love the way you punched the papers so that the butterflies in the dp become part of the punched piece. It's truly wonderful to have you playing in our challenge this fortnight at Scribble & Scrap. Good luck in the draw.
