Gingham or Checks at Penny's

Hope you are all having a good week.  Halfway through now so can't be bad.

Today sees the start of a new challenge over at Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenges and our theme this week is:

Gingham and/or Checks

I used an image from Sassy Studio which I coloured using my promarkers.


I used black card as my contrast and used one of my Spellbinder dies as a background for the image.  The paper was from my scraps box (slowly getting through it).  Just added some red ribbon, feathers, gems and a sentiment to finish the card.  Quite simple but quite striking with the red against the black.
