Hope you are all well. Been a bit cooler here today but at least no rain. Seemed like a long day at work today but now only three more days to go before a lovely long weekend. So looking forward to it. My youngest daughter will be home from university for the bank holiday weekend so good times. Not sure what we are doing over the weekend yet. I know we are definitely going to see The Hunger Games at the cinema and a nice family meal out on Thursday. But will just go with the flow for the rest of the time.
Now for all you wonderful people out in blogland I have made this card to wish you all a Happy Easter.
The image is from Robyn's Fetish digital stamps and is called 'Chickie'. I just think it is so cute. I coloured in promarkers and then cut it out and mounted it with foam pads onto a couple of scalloped circles. The large Easter egg on the left hand side of the card was a free stamp that I received in a magazine. I stamped it out onto orange card and then paperpieced the yellow flowers onto it. Then just added a ribbon to the top. The rest of the items on the card were all from my stash (papers, ribbon, flowers and gems). I handwrote the sentiment and added some faux stitching.
