Bring on the colour

Morning Folks
Wow, an early morning post from me.  I wanted to get this posted as we are off out later to a baby naming ceremony.  Not sure at the moment what time we will be back.  Weather doesn't look too bright at the moment though which is a shame.  As we are going down to our local pub after the ceremony it would have been nice to see the sun and have a drink in the beer garden.  Can't win em all I suppose.
Anyway onto my card.  I have continued my own personal challenge of trying to use different colour combinations in my projects.  The current challenge at The Ribbon Girl is to use Orange, Pink and Aqua.  Not colours I would automatically have put together so I gave it a go.

The image is a stamp from Hero Arts that I won in some candy from the Simon Says Stamp blog.  The stamp lent itself to being layered due to the fact that it looked like a two layer flower.  I therefore stamped the image twice onto pink and orange spotty paper.  I cut the images out and then layered the orange onto the pink using foam dots.  Instant dimension.  The flower was then layered onto a kraft circle which I die cut.  I stuck some lace around the edge of the circle and added some pearls to create a focal point.  I used the same pink and orange spotty papers to create the panels at the back.  Kraft card was used on all the layers and I die cut my butterflies from kraft card too.  I also added some stardust stickles to the flower and butterflies.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Ribbon Girl - Orange, pink and aqua
Fussy and Fancy - Punches and dies
Crafty Catz - Stripes or checks
Creative Card Crew - Kraft
Top Tip Tuesday - Spotty Dotty
Sentimental Sundays - Frame it
Pile It On - Pop it up
Papertake - A stitch in time (faux stitching round all the panels)
Whimsy Stamps - Punches and/or die cuts
Fab N Funky - Lace and pearls

Thanks for popping by and hope you all have a good weekend.
Take care
