Not Just Cards Guest Designer Project

Hi Folks
A quick post this morning as I am going shopping with my daughters soon to try and find my wedding outfit.  Of course, there is also shoes, handbag, jewellery and fascinator to find as well.  Could be a long trip lol.

Today I am here to share my final project as guest designer with Not Just Cards challenge blog.  It has been a pleasure to be part of the team and I would like to thank Zoe for asking me.

Here is my inspiration project using a cute image called Birthday Turtle from The Stamping Boutique.

I coloured the image using my promarkers.  I then die cut a shape out of kraft card using one of my spellbinders dies to mount the image onto.  For the background I used plain pearlescent paper.  I added some dots using my distress inks and pencil eraser.  The stitching around the edge was done with a fine liner pen.  The birthday sentiment is an All Occasion die from Robert Addams.  I cut out one in black and one in kraft and then offset them to give a shadow effect.  Some ribbon, flowers and pearls completed the tag.

Thanks for popping by and why not pop over to Not Just Cards challenge blog and check it out.  Would love to see some of you enter the challenge.

I would like to enter this tag into the following challenges:

Digi Choosday - Anything but square

Embossing at Winter Wonderland

Hi Folks
Hope everyone is okay and you have had a good week. I am looking forward to the weekend as we are going to stay with my Sister and her hubby and boys.  So nice to be able to spend some time with them.

I am popping by today as a new challenge is starting over at Winter Wonderland.  Our theme for this week is:
Embossing (wet or dry)
As long as your project has some embossing and is christmas related you can enter the challenge.

Here is my inspiration project.

I used an embossing folder that I have had for a couple of years to emboss onto white card.  I then went over the whole card with green chalk to pick out the embossing.  I also added glamour dust glitter to the embossing (although you can't see that very well in the photo).  I matted onto some holographic mirror card and added some gems and a sentiment.

Our sponsor for this week is Crafts U Love with a prize of a £10 voucher.

So why not get cracking on with those christmas makes and enter the challenge.  Just pop over to Winter Wonderland for full challenge details.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
CHNC Extra - Anything goes
ABC Challenge - F is for Festive
HIMCR - Embossing

Boys and Girls Come Out To Play

Hi Folks
Hope things are okay with you all.  I have a busy day today as I am going with my daughter to have the alterations fitting for her wedding dress.  It is a few months since we bought the dress so will be lovely to see her in it again.  The wedding is getting all too near now with less than 3 months to go.  Very exciting.

Anyway, as it's Wednesday it's time for a new challenge over at Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenges.  Our theme for this week is:
Boys and girls come out to play
We would like to see either a boy or a girl image on your project.  Or if you are feeling adventurous why not use both.

Our super sponsors this week are:
Lacy Sunshine - prize of a $20 gift certificate to the store
Imagine That - prize of a $10 gift certificate to the store

Here is my inspiration project using an image from Lacy Sunshine.  As you can see I decided to have an image with a boy and a girl.

I coloured the image using my promarkers before mounting onto a doily.  The papers are from a paper pack from Kraftyhands.  I mounted onto kraft card after distressing all the edges with my distress tool.  Some ribbon, roses, a bow, parchment butterfly and pearls finished the project.  Quite a vintage feel to it I think.

Thanks for popping by and looking forward to seeing all your entries into our challenge.  Just pop over to Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenges for full challenge details.  Don't forget to check out the super inspiration projects from my talented teamies.

Here is my inspiration project using a cute image from our sponsor.

I coloured the image using promarkers and used soft pink colours.  I also added some liquid pearls for added texture and dimension.  I love the backing paper but not sure where it is from as it was a loose bit in my paper stash.  I used kraft card for the matting as I love pink and kraft together.  Some little girl ribbon, some gems and a paper rose finished the card.

Ribbons and Pearls

We have a great sponsor with Crafty Ribbons who are offering the winner a £10 voucher.

Here is my inspiration project.

I decorated a little gift bag.  The stamp was a freebie rubber stamp set that came with a crafting magazine a little while ago.  The stamps fit perfectly with the lacy circles die from Spellbinders.  I stamped the image with memento ink and then coloured with promarkers before adding some glamour dust to the wings.  I also added lots of pearls around the outside of the die cut.  The ribbons are from Crafty Ribbons.

Guest Designer at Not Just Cards Challenges

Hi Folks
Hope you all had a good weekend and a special hello to all you wonderful Mothers out there in the UK as we celebrated Mothers Day yesterday.  I had a lovely day yesterday and was spoiled by my two lovely daughters with flowers, chocolates, wine and a new top to wear.

Today I am here to share my second project as a guest designer over at Not Just Cards Challenges.  For this fortnight I used a cute image from one of the sponsors, Dilly Beans Stamps and created a little wall hanging.

I coloured the image with promarkers and then used a sticky glitter sheet from Little Claire over the top.  You can still see the image through but it adds a lovely glitter effect to the whole image.  This was then cut out and matted onto some black card and then a doily.  The backing paper was a scrap from my scraps box.  I added a couple of wooden hearts and some gems to finish the wall hanging.

Thanks for popping by and would love to know what you think.  Don't forget to pop over to Not Just Cards Challenges and check out the challenge.  You will also find some gorgeous inspiration from the design team.

Today sees the start of a new digi challenge over at Little Claire's Designs.  Our theme for this month is:   Shaped Cards

Here is my inspiration project using a super digi image called Swirly Whirlie Poppies.

I made an easel card and I used my Brother Scan N Cut to cut out all the different coloured layers out of card.  The image is coloured in promarkers.  For the stopper I used a peel off from Little Claires that I backed onto red card.  Some pearl flourishes finished the base and I also added some little pearls around the main image.

Guest Designer at Not Just Cards

Hi Folks
Hope you all had a good weekend.  It was my birthday on Saturday and I have been totally spoiled.  Went to see a Queen tribute band on Friday night, my girls treated me to lunch out on Saturday and I enjoyed a meal out with family and friends on Saturday night.  All in all,  a great weekend.  But now onto crafty matters.

A little while ago I was invited to be a guest designer at Not Just Cards challenge blog for the month of March.  I was delighted to be asked and today is my first challenge post with them.

Here is my inspiration project using a cute image from Robyns Fetish called Kitty Play.

I decided to decorate a little gift bag.  I love decorating gift bags as everyone has birthdays and presents look so much better in a lovely bag.  I coloured the image using promarkers and cut out using my lacy circle die.  To keep with the wool theme I threaded some wool around the holes on the outside of the die cut.  I created a little bow effect using wool too.  A sentiment and a flower finished the little bag.  Perfect for anyone with a knitting hobby.

Thanks for popping by and would love you to join in the challenge at Not Just Cards.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
