Well, a busy blogging day for me as this is my second post of the day. Just don't expect it every day lol.
Today sees the start of a new challenge over at Lothian Crafts Online. Our theme for this month is:
Use any Marianne Design Dies
I think that quite a few of us have one or two Marianne Design Dies in our stash. Just use them in your creation and enter the challenge. Don't forget to let us know what dies you have used.
Here is my inspiration project using Marianne Dies which are available from Lothian Crafts Online.
I used a couple of different bauble dies and a christmas fern die - all from Marianne Designs. For the bauble dies I covered some white card with double sided sticky paper. When the dies came out I removed the backing off the sticky paper and used gilding flakes. The central red panel on the card has also been covered with double sided paper and this time I have covered with micro beads. Gives a nice frosty look I think. Hopefully by using the twine over the fern branch I have given the impression of baubles hanging from a tree. I kept the embellishments quite simple using some poinsettias, bows and little pearl stars.
Thanks for popping by and looking forward to seeing all your entries. Just pop over to the challenge blog at Lothian Crafts Online to enter. Don't forget to check out the rest of the inspiration from the design team while you are there.
