Hope you are well and had a good weekend. My daughters are going to Greece on Thursday for a week's holiday together. They are taking great enjoyment in reminding me of this fact every possible minute they can. All I can think of at the moment is a week of peace and quiet and no mess lol. Glad I am at work on Thursday while they are packing, it will be manic here.
Just wanted to pop by and share this card that I was asked to make by a friend of mine.
I have been having a play with sparkle medium and stencil from Imagination Crafts. For the main image I used the Butterfly Blossom Border stencil and Rose Shimmer sparkle medium. I did a bit of inking with some aged mahogany distress ink around the edges and in the centre. This was then matted onto kraft card. The background paper is from a First Edition paper pad called Sweet Owl. Again, I inked around the edges with the same distress ink. The central sentiment was stamped onto white card, distressed round the edges and mounted onto a spellbinders scalloped square die. I added some ribbon across the centre and topped it with some pearl trim from The Hobby House. A sentiment from Craftwork Cards and some flowers and gems from my stash completed the card.
Thanks for popping by and for the lovely comments you leave. I enjoy reading every one and would love to know what you think.
