Well, I am back from my weekend away. I will post a little bit later about it all but needless to say it was very entertaining and had a fab time.
Now this is a little late posting as I did schedule it but blogger was not playing the game.
It is time to start a new challenge over at Corrosive Challenges. For the month of April our sponsor is 'TICKLED PINK STAMPS'.
And the theme for the first fortnightly April challenge is 'The Man, The Myth, The Legend - Tim Holtz'. I love Tim Holtz products so for this challenge we want to see you use at least one Tim Holtz product. Just upload your project and let us know in your post what Tim Holtz product(s) you have used.
As you can see I decided to make a tag for this challenge. Unfortunately the colours do not really show up well on the photo. They are so much more vibrant in real life. I did the background using various Tim Holtz distress inks. I then stamped the bottom with a stamp from one of the Papermania Urban stamp sets. I used black ink and clear embossing powder to emboss the image. The butterflies were also stamped and embossed with clear embossing powder (from the same urban stamp set). I added some little strips of Tim Holtz tissue tape and overstamped these with some inspirational words from a woodware stamp set that I have. I added some flowers and ribbon to complete the look. The star charm is also Tim Holtz.
I have decided that I may hang this in my craft room to keep me inspired (well, that is the hope).
Why not pop by the challenge blog and check out the rest of the teams amazing creations.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
Whimsy Stamps - Distressing
Fab N Funky - No DP
Pixie Dust - Embossing (the images are all stamped and heat embossed using clear embossing powder)
Sweet Stampin - Anything but square
Polka Doodles - Shabby chic/vintage
Top Tip Tuesday - Anything but a card
Thanks for popping by and looking forward to seeing all your creations.
