Seems like an age since I got in my crafty room. But today being Bank Holiday and my hubby at work it is the ideal opportunity.
Had a lovely start to the weekend yesterday. Went to the cinema with hubby and the two daughters to see 'The Hunger Games'. I really enjoyed the film and would recommend it. I have also read the trilogy of books and was surprised how closely they kept to the original book. After the film we went to one of our favourite pub restaurants for a meal. Got home about 9.30pm and we were all stuffed. So all in all a really great family day.
Anyway onto a card that I whipped up this morning. I am a bit low on male boy cards in my stock so thought I ought to remedy that.
This was quite a quick card to do as all of the images were stickers that I got from Dunelm Mill. I used some dark blue pealescent paper for the backing and the gingham paper from Papermania. I had some silver mesh so I made these into little frames (thought I looked a bit like a goal). A few gems, ribbon and buttons finished it off.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
CES Challenges - No girls allowed
Joanna Sheen - It's a mans world
Robyns Fetish - Sports
Papertake - Anything goes with a monochrome option
Celebrate The Occasion - Childs Birthday
Anything Goes - Anything goes
Whimsy Stamps - Use ribbon
One Crazy Stamper - Boy/Men
Charisma Cardz - Chipboard or stickers
Thanks for popping by and for any comments you want to leave me. I really enjoy reading them.
Hope you are all enjoying the long weekend so far.
